Rachel Dykstra, CPA/PFS
Rachel graduated from Boise State University, Magna Cum Laude, in 2004 with double majors in Accounting and Finance, and a minor in Mathematics. Her professional experience started with internships with Merrill Lynch and the Idaho State Tax Commission. Upon graduation Rachel was recruited to Eide Bailly, LLP (one of the largest regional CPA firms in Idaho), while at Eide Bailly she became a licensed CPA. Rachel worked on the audit side of Public Accounting, while providing tax support during the tax season, to become a well -rounded CPA.
After leaving Eide Bailly, Rachel decided to start her own practice in which she has grown throughout the years based on her knowledge and dedication to clients. This was the beginning of River City Accountants. Now Rachel employs additional people and continues to provide services based on her vast experience and time in the industry.
In her off-time Rachel enjoys just about anything outdoors with her dog, specifically fishing and week-long rafting trips.
Kylie Bolland, Director of Operations
Raised in Idaho, Kylie brings over a decade of leadership experience in operations, finance, and program management across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she led energy grant programs for the Idaho Governor’s Office of Energy & Mineral Resources, overseeing $40 million in federal and state funding while streamlining compliance and reporting processes. Prior to that, Kylie played a key role in launching Lost Grove Brewing, where she managed HR, sustainability initiatives, and large-scale community events for over six years. Earlier in her career, Kylie worked in remote Alaska in the commercial fishing industry as a seasonal accounting clerk, managing multimillion-dollar fisher settlements.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Idaho.
Outside of work, Kylie loves to cook and enjoys anything outdoors, especially fly fishing and exploring new places. She loves being involved in the community and currently serves as Board Secretary of the Treasure Valley Canopy Network.
